The John Lewis Christmas advert features an alien crash landing on Earth.
The alien gets help from a boy to experience Christmas for the first time and takes part in snowball fights and eats mince pies before a tearful farewell.
The advert, set to the soundtrack of Forever in Electric Dreams sung by London artist Lola Young, begins with a boy called Nathan discovering alien Skye, who shows interest in a Christmas jumper adorned with a tree, baubles and Christmas lights.
