Where is Holly Willoughby on ITV This Morning? Host replaced after missing Dancing On Ice

Holly Willoughby will be absent from This Morning this week after being forced to miss Dancing On Ice.

The presenter had to pull out of the semi-final of the ITV skating competition on Sunday night leaving Phillip Schofield to host the show solo.

Hours before the penultimate episode of the show aired it was confirmed that Holly, 41, had tested positive for coronavirus.

A statement from ITV said: "Unfortunately, Holly Willoughby is unable to host tonight's show after testing positive for Covid-19. We look forward to Holly returning for the Dancing on Ice Live Final."

After welcoming viewers to Dancing On Ice, Phillip, 59, commented: "As you can see, Holly isn’t here tonight. We found out just a few hours ago that she’s tested positive for Covid.

"I know what it’s like to watch this show from home. It is really weird. Holly, get well soon. Lots of love."

As Phillip alluded to, it comes weeks after Phillip had to miss a week of Dancing On Ice, being replaced by Stephen Mulhern, and also miss days of This Morning after contracting the virus himself.

It is likely that Holly will be replaced on the ITV daytime programme for much of this week, depending on if she gets negative tests.

On previous occasions, Holly has been replaced by Josie Gibson and Rochelle Humes on the show but Rochelle is currently away filming in Glasgow for the BBC show, Hit List, she hosts with her husband Marvin.

And ITV confirmed to Daily Star that Josie would be replacing Holly on Monday morning's show after the regular host was left unwell.
