Eurovision success stories include the likes of Céline Dion, ABBA and Lulu, but life in the spotlight isn't always guaranteed. Despite performing live in front of millions of viewers at home, contestants often fade into the background once their time on the show is over. Fifty-two countries have participated in the song contest since it started in 1956, and whilst this has led to global stardom for some, others fell short after their 15 minutes of fame.
