A woman from Manchester went viral after she shared pictures of 'benches in terrible locations'.
She said she was 'obsessed' with them - and clearly the rest of the internet was too - with over 43,000 people having liked the original Tweet.
Hannah, @theeyecollector, asked some very important questions.

"Who put them there?
"Does anyone ever sit on them?

The M.E.N. can't claim to have all the answers - but what we can do is send photographers out to find some of Greater Manchester's most curiously-located seating.
Here's what we found.
You could argue that this bench makes quite a cool picture with the colourful graffiti in the background - but it's the location that throws it off.
It's by the River Irwell, fine, but it's also right next to the Mancunian Way and a building site.
One reason for sitting on a bench is to take in the view. If you're really into hedges, then this one Church St in Radcliffe might be for you (but I'm guessing that you're probably not).
Ever wanted to have a sit down on the other side of the road from an industrial estate? Just head to Plodder Lane in Farnworth where you can get a splendid view on the Edge Fold Industrial Estate.
Sometimes you want to sit on a bench for a bit of peace and quiet. Well that's not what you'd be getting with this one. It's right by Stockport's Pyramid Roundabout.
