Glamour's , I'm also a member of the Television Critics Association (the organization that brings you the ), the Critics Choice Association (the will air this March), an associate member of the (the Emmys), and the (the awards will air Sunday, February 27 on TNT/TBS). Needless to say, I'm quite passionate about the industry and finding the best of the best, whether it's the next addictive reality show, the TV series worth a second look, or the movie you need to see. So with that said, let's jump right in to what to watch for the week of Sunday, January 30 as we head into February.
(Hello, and !)Celebrating Betty White: America's Golden Girl (NBC): There's been a lot of since the beloved Emmy-winner passed away nearly a month ago, but given that NBC was the home of The Golden Girls from 1985-1992, expect to see plenty of personal touches in this hour-long special. (NBC also hosted Betty's 90th birthday special back in 2012.) In fact, Cher sings a custom, brand-new version of “Thank You For Being a Friend,” and it was taped on the original Golden Girls stage 5 in Hollywood.
Friends, fellow colleagues, and admirers of Betty's—including President Joe Biden, Tina Fey, Goldie Hawn, Jean Smart, Drew Barrymore, and more will pay tribute to the comedy legend, and hopefully, some of her beloved furry friends too. 10 P.M./9 P.M.
ET/CT on NBC and available to stream the next day on PeacockThe Bachelor (ABC): It's worth tuning in to see if resident mean girl Shanae goes home, so we can all move on to more civilized and kinder conversations that don't involve shrimp. 8 P.M./7 P.M.
