of the Game of Thrones prequel, , Prime Video rolls out its much anticipated fantasy drama, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, this week. No comparisons here, other than it’s another with epic storytelling and a huge budget to bring it to life. But if period fantasy dramas aren’t your thing—or even if they are—there are plenty of other new shows worthy of your attention. Hallmark’s Mahogany card brand is coming to Hallmark’s Movies & Mysteries channel with original made-for-TV movies.
First up: Unthinkably Good Things, which premieres tonight and is a joyous way to spend your time. There’s also America’s National Parks, airing over five nights on NatGeo. The docuseries is just another reminder of how sacred our planet is. Yes, I know you know that, but you can’t help but get swept away by the breathtaking beauty of these parks, and the quest for survival for the wildlife that inhabit it. On the rom-com front, Love in the Villa on Netflix will transport you to Italy, or at least inspire your next vacation.
If you’re looking for something with more drama, then The Bachelorette has that taken care of with “Men Tell All” this week. When federal police officers are called in to investigate, they discover “the beginning of a thread that unravels, like no other, the construction of crime in the country,” the synopsis runs.

Kim Murphy Netflix has revealed the second installment of its two-picture deal with Lindsay Lohan, announcing on Thursday the actress will star in the romantic comedy “Irish Wish.” In the film, Lohan will play Maddie, a bridesmaid attending a wedding in Ireland between her best friend and… the love of her life. After a wish gone awry, Maddie wakes up in a world where she become the betrothed, only to discover that reality isn’t one she really wants. “Irish Wish” will be the second Netflix-set romantic comedy to star Lohan. The first is “Falling for Christmas,” which is set to debut on the streaming service on Nov. 10. The holiday meet-cute features Lohan as a newly engaged heiress who takes a tumble while skiing and wakes up with a case of amnesia.

Me Time, directed and written by John Hamburg (Meet The Parents), pairs Hollywood powerhouses Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg in a chemistry-free friendship full of slapstick comedy and hijinks. Hamburg is known for his comedic work. The same goes for Hart and Wahlberg, but the three combined created something full of hot air. Regina Hall also stars in the film and is regulated to the background as the nagging significant other. It’s actually impressive how unfunny this film is and that one must sit through every painful moment until the credits roll.

For “Little Big Boy,” Kroll shot the special in June at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.“I could be wrong, but I don’t know if people think of me really as a stand up, because I’ve been doing sketch and animation and acting and the writing stuff,” said Kroll, who beyond “Big Mouth” and his voicework is perhaps best known for “The League” and “The Kroll Show,” as well as playing the geriatric Gil Faizon, opposite John Mulaney, in the “Oh, Hello” sketches that eventually turned into a Broadway show (also taped for Netflix).
