Storm Eunice has caused a wave of train cancellations across the country due to fallen trees and debris on the lines.
While some train operators are running on an altered timetable in different areas, others have directly cancelled almost all their services.
Wales has suspended all rail services today due to the red weather warning for wind issued by the Met Office in response to Storm Eunice.
Meanwhile, Network Rail announced earlier today that rail services going in and to of most major London stations are suspended due to the dangerous weather conditions.
If your train has been cancelled your best bet is to try and catch the next available one - if this is not possible or convenient you may be able to claim a refund.
It's important to note that before attempting to claim a refund, most railway services have announced they will allow you to use a ticket bought today on the following Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
National Rail has confirmed that season ticket holders who choose not to travel but have still bought a ticket can claim a refund by selecting 'abandoned journey' on the National Rail app.
If you manage to catch a delayed train, you could still be owed a refund if the train has been delayed for 15 minutes or more - this policy varies depending on the operator and service.
Most rail operators allow travellers to apply for a refund for up to 28 days after their train has been cancelled - once again, different operators have varied policies.
If you want to make a claim online, most operators have a form on their website which can be used to request a refund - in most cases you will need to provide a picture of your ticket so keep it on hand.
