What's coming to and leaving Hulu in May 2020

Sure, Netflix might be the first thing you think of when looking for something to stream, but Hulu is catching up as the place to go to for some quality time with a screen. With its mix of original series, next-day episodes of current television, film-festival indie films, and blockbuster box-office hits, Hulu might be the most well-rounded of all the streaming services.

There are a lot of TV shows and movies coming to Hulu in May, but we know you don't have time to sift through everything on the giant list to find the golden nuggets in between all the crap! Besides, that's our job, and we love it.

Showtime is saying goodbye to a number of titles in May. The network has announced a list of movies that are set to disappear throughout next month.

While HBO is gearing up to welcome a slate of new content in May, the streaming service is saying goodbye to a host of movies. James Cameron's 1994 action-comedy True Lies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Penny Marshall's Big with Tom Hanks are among the titles leaving the platform, along with the Liam Neeson thriller Unknown.

Watch, and on Hulu while you still can. While a bunch of new titles are premiering on the streaming service in May, several popular titles are leaving at the end of the month, which means if you're hoping to stream them on the platform, you'd better do so soon.

It's not gonna be a long, long time before you can stream the Elton John biopic  on Hulu. The film, along with many other TV shows and movies, is headed to the streaming platform in May, as continued stay-at-home orders due to the coronavirus pandemic leave many looking for more things to watch as they weather the social distancing storm.
