Manchester city centre flooded after another day of rain on Tuesday (January 2) as a huge puddle was hilariously renamed 'Lake Primark' and the 'Market Street Canal'.
People were dodging the pavement beside the Market Street tram stop on Tuesday evening (January 2) after hours of downpours caused the busy shopping street to flood.
It comes after the region was battered by heavy downpours for another day amid Storm Henk, with a Met Office yellow weather warning in place throughout the day.

However, it seemed that not everyone's sense of humour was dampened by the drizzle, as the flooded street was posted across social media, and referred to as 'Lake Primark' and the 'Market Street Canal'.
@PrestwichBlue posted a picture of the flooding, which was captioned:"Market Street tonight. Not sure whether I need the tram or a lifeboat."
@A_Krystopher humorously wrote: "Market Street really went and said 'New Year New Me' holy ****" as @DanAtPlace posted: "Despite not even breaking into the top 10 of the UK’s rainiest cities, nowhere does puddles quite like Manchester. Lake Primark on Market Street is the best I’ve seen today."
Also sharing a picture of the flooded street, @rmillerstott posted: "The River Market Street" as @RoreyS quipped: "Welcome to the Market St Canal."
It comes as a number of flood alerts were put in place across Greater Manchester amid heavy rainfall warnings with residents told to 'be prepared'.
