‘Welcome To Chippendales’: Hulu Drops New Trailer For Kumail Nanjiani Drama

James Corden is starring in Prime Video’s new dark comedy titled Mammals and the streamer just dropped the trailer which you can view above.

Okay, this teaser looks … disturbing. But it’s what fans of Criminal Minds have come to expect from the long-running franchise, which makes its highly anticipated return this month to Paramount+.

Mayor of Kingstown, the Jeremy Renner starrer from Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, has a return date.

The teaser trailer for The Bast Man: The Final Chapters dropped during the Urbanworld Film Festival, the same event where the film originally premiered in 1999. The Peacock limited series will premiere all 8 episodes on December 22. Watch the trailer in the video posted above.

From Falco Ink and Sony Pictures Classics, the prequel stars Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern as divorced parents to Nicholas (newcomer Zen McGrath).

EJ Panaligan editor Hulu has released the official trailer for “Welcome to Chippendales,” starring Kumail Nanjiani as Somen “Steve” Banjeree, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the famous male-stripping empire, and quickly learns how unglamorous the live entertainment world can be. Also starring in the series alongside Nanjiani are Murray Bartlett, Annaleigh Ashford, Dan Stevens, Juliette Lewis with Nicola Peltz appearing in a guest starring role. The show comes from creator Robert Siegel, whose previous credits include “The Founder” and “The Wrestler.” Marvel Studios’ “Fantastic Four” director Matt Shakman directs the series. It is inspired by the events portrayed in the book “Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders,” by authors K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca.

What’s better than a true-crime series about a corrupt business? Well, how about when that business involves male strippers and stars none other than Kumail Nanjiani? What starts as a modest dream to run a business turns into a desire to build an empire based on the fact that people like to see sexy dudes dancing around in bowties and cuffs.

While already known as a respected novelist, playwright, theatre director, and screenwriter, French renaissance man Florian Zeller really put himself on the map with his directorial debut, “The Father,” in 2020, winning Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actors for Anthony Hopkins at the 93rd Academy Awards. Zeller follows that film up with “The Son,” which is actually not a sequel but stars Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, Zen McGrath, Hugh Quarshie, and Anthony Hopkins once again.
