A "devoted" and "inseparable" elderly couple found dead in bed together at their retirement complex in Trafford took their own lives in a "suicide pact" an inquest heard.
The bodies of Peter White, 72 and his wife Diana, 74, were discovered at the couple's flat in a sheltered housing scheme in Altrincham in January.
They were found to have taken an overdose of painkillers and sleeping pills.
