Wayne Rooney has slammed Aaron Wan-Bissaka's lapse of concentration which led to Liverpool equalising from the penalty spot late on in Sunday's thrilling draw against Manchester United.
Three weeks after the epic FA Cup quarter-final clash between the two sides, Luis Diaz fired Liverpool ahead in the first at Old Trafford when he found himself unmarked at the back post and finished with aplomb. United, though, rallied back after the break and soon found themselves ahead after two exceptional finishes from Bruno Fernandes and then teenage midfielder Kobbie Mainoo 17 minutes later.
However, Liverpool will come on strong once more in the closing stages of the game as Jurgen Klopp sent on Joe Gomez, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott, who won a penalty for the visitors with less than 10 minutes remaining after Wan-Bissaka brought him down inside the United penalty area.

Speaking to Premier League productions after the game, United's all-time top-scorer, Rooney, rued United's defending in the build-up that led to the equalising spot-kick for Klopp's side.
"When you go back a bit, Bruno Fernandes is too easy to get past when Joe Gomez is taking his run down the line," said Rooney. "Bruno dives in and lets him get past, which is why Aaron Wan-Bissaka then has to come out.
"If he stays on his feet you don’t get to this situation. But it’s very poor from Wan-Bissaka. It’s sloppy. When you go to ground like that, you run the risk of giving a penalty away."
