Liam Gallagher has blamed hackers for editing his website to announce falsely that his Manchester show at the Etihad Stadium had been cancelled.The soloist and former Oasis frontman took to Twitter over the weekend to tell fans that his headline show was still on. “I hear some [bell]end has hacked my official website saying that the MANCHESTER gig is cancelled it’s not see ya there MCFC CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND,” he wrote.Gallagher first announced the June 1 show in support of his new album, ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’, last October.

Oasis‘ Liam and Noel Gallagher that led to the band’s break-up has sold at auction for £325,000.The red Gibson ES-355 guitar was broken backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in August 2009, where the band notoriously cancelled their set at the last minute after Noel left the band with immediate effect.It was announced last month that the guitar would be going up for auction, with a starting price of €150,000 (£125,000). Auctioneers were predicting that the item could go for as much as €500,000 (£415,000), but in the end it sold for €385,500 (£325,000).The auction was held by the Artpèges gallery, with founder Jonathan Berg saying that the guitar represented “a cult moment” in modern musical history, adding: “Things had been brewing for a while between the two brothers.

Paolo Nutini has announced details of his new album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’ and shared two new songs – listen to ‘Lose It’ and ‘Through The Echoes’ below.The new LP, which is the Scottish artist’s fourth studio album, will serve as the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Caustic Love’.Nutini’s ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’ is released on July 1 via Atlantic Records.
