Disney+ is giving you yet another reason to stay inside this Star Wars Day by adding to its already expansive Star Warscollection with — drum roll, plase — a new docuseries about everyone's favorite intergalactic bounty hunter, Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. The rumors have circulated for years, but now it's finally, totally, officially confirmed: Ewan McGregor will return to the Star Wars universe to star as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new Disney+ series. The actor first played the character in the Star Wars prequel films, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. (The character was originated by Sir Alec Guinness in the original film, Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope.)

Star Wars actor and dialect coach Andrew Jack is dead at age 76 due to complications from coronavirus, his agent confirmed. He is one of many celebrities who have succumb to the deadly virus.

Actor Andrew Jack, who featured in Star Wars, passed away two days after testing positive for Coronavirus. As his wife Gabrielle Rogers remained in quarantine after his diagnosis, the 76-year-old succumbed to the illness at a hospital near London.

Andrew Jack, who was known for his role as Resistance Major Caluan Ematt in the “Star Wars” franchise as well as for being a major Hollywood dialect coach, has died after suffering complications stemming from coronavirus. He was 76 years old.
