All drivers in the UK with Facebook and WhatsApp have been issued a warning.
An increasing number of scammers have been using the social media platforms to try to steal innocent victims' cash.
The scams see fraudsters lure unsuspecting victims on Facebook and Instagram by offering unrealistically cheap policies.
They then encourage the driver to contact them through messaging services such as WhatsApp.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has released the latest figures for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) which shows there were 540,000 employers with 1.9 million staff on furlough on June 30, 2021. This was a decrease of 590,000 from May 31 where there were 2.4 million workers on furlough.

The UK Government has so far paid out £25.2billion in financial support to 2.9million self-employed individuals whose business has been affected by coronavirus through the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS). The latest figures from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) show that 9.1 million total grants have been claimed by self-employed workers across the UK since the scheme launched in May last year.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has released some of the most outlandish excuses used for not paying the legal minimum. During the last financial year- 2020 to 2021 - HMRC helped more than 155,000 workers across the UK recover more than £16 million in pay which was owed to them by their employer, and also issued more than £14 million in penalties.
