Walt Disney World Targets July Reopening for Orlando Theme Parks, Resorts

Disney has proposed a phased reopening of Disneyland in California, that would see both Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks open for business on July 17.That would come less than a week after the reopening of Disney World in Orlando, which is set for July 11.

After several months on hiatus, the NBA made significant headway in returning to play. On Wednesday, it was announced that their parks are scheduled to reopen for the first time since shutting down due to the spread of the coronavirus.

Disney World may be a destination for travelers this summer after all. The theme park, along with other properties, has been closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S.

Disney World is planning to begin opening back up their parks as soon as mid-July.

The NBA might be able to resume its season in July and all games might be played at Disney World.
