Regina Spektor has announced her new album ‘Home, Before And After’ and shared the single ‘Becoming All Alone’ – you can hear the track below.The forthcoming LP, which will be her eighth studio album, is the follow-up to the US artist’s September 2016 album ‘Remember Us To Life’.Described in a press release as Spektor’s “most quintessentially ‘New York’ [record] in decades”, ‘Home, Before And After’ was recorded in upstate New York and produced by Spektor and John Congleton.‘Home, Before And After’ is set for release on June 24 via Warner. Porridge Radio have announced details of their third album ‘Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder To The Sky’ and shared its first single ‘Back To The Radio’.The band have also confirmed their biggest-ever UK headline tour alongside a series of intimate in-store shows around the record’s release.‘Back To The Radio’ was written by frontperson Dana Margolin ahead of the release of the group’s acclaimed 2020 album ‘Every Bad’, a time when she felt like “a lot of things were coming that I wasn’t sure I knew how to handle”.“The song grew out of a feeling of intense loneliness and being unprepared for what everybody was promising me was about to happen – and a strong desire to escape without knowing what I wanted to escape to,” she said in a press release. “To me, there’s a huge feeling of catharsis in this song, of letting go and letting it sweep you away.”The song comes with a video directed by Margolin’s sister Ella and finds the singer waking up in a room where papier-mâché furniture is slowly being removed one by one. Later, she joins the rest of Porridge Radio in a room decorated with landscape scenery as people dressed all in black move her around the space.

Sarah Beth Tomberlin, an indie folk-rock songwriter performing under her surname, has gained a dedicated cult following for her passionate dispatches of the heart since her 2018 album At Weddings. Today, she announced her follow-up LP, i don’t know who needs to hear this… with a new single called "happy accident." On the album's title track (which we heard in January) Tomberlin evoked a place of healing as loose threads of instrumentation – guitar, samples, mirroring vocals – formed a cozy and reassuring sonic garment.

Nova Twins have announced details of their much-anticipated second album ‘Supernova’, plus visuals for an intense new single ‘K.M.B.’.The track, which stands for ‘Kill My Boyfriend’, comes with visuals that sees various people who have murdered their partners enlisting the duo to help clean up the aftermath.“’K.M.B.’ will stitch-up the hearts of the heartbroken, teaching the ones who broke it a lesson”, said Nova Twins of the visuals.“Inspired by the sound and feel of the ’90s, we wrote and filmed our version of a playful horror movie. Kathryn Joseph has announced that she will release her third album – ‘For You Who Are The Wronged’ – in April.The follow-up to 2018’s ‘From When I Wake The Want Is’, the new record was written in early 2020 and features songs themed around different types of violation. She says that she hopes the album might help someone who recognises themselves in one of these songs.“Partly, it feels like the only thing I can do in terms of saying it out loud”, she explains.
