A man has accused Greater Manchester Police of racial profiling after he was mistakenly arrested over a bike theft in the city centre.
Video of the incident shared with the Manchester Evening News shows Fabio Goncalves, 26, handcuffed on Market Street while officers established that his bike was not stolen.
The incident happened on a busy Saturday evening and attracted a large crowd of onlookers.
