Victoria Beckham has opened up about her notoriously strict diet after she celebrated turning 50 in April.
The fashion icon and mother of four, who partied with her former Spice Girls bandmates for the milestone birthday, is famous for her disciplined approach to food. It's been a hot topic that Victoria, once known as Posh Spice, hasn't changed her meal routine for 25 years, sticking to grilled fish and steamed vegetables. David Beckham shared on the River Cafe's Table 4 podcast that his wife: "Only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables; she will very rarely deviate from that." But now, Victoria has clarified her stance, acknowledging that she's found a happy medium between healthy living and enjoying life.
Sharing her tips for maintaining her svelte figure, she confessed: "This is how I look. "I'm going to make the best of it, work hard at it. I'm very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work.
That's just who I am." Speaking to Grazia magazine, she continued: "But I do like to have a drink and I'm not going to be one of these, 'Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine,' types.
Whatever. Life's too short. Let's have a nice time." Victoria has also opened up about the hurtful nicknames and body shaming she endured during her rise to fame, revealing that being called 'Skeletal Spice' took a toll on her confidence.
