The League Cup has already seen some Premiership scalps taken with St Johnstone failing to make it out of their group after as 4-0 battering at the hands of League One Stirling.
But despite some scares along the way, five of the seven top flight sides have already booked their place in the hat - with Dundee needing to win by a two clear goals against inverness Caley Thistle to make it to the next round or they will be pipped by Raith Rovers.

Dundee need a couple of goals to rank as one of the better runners-up so it's no surprise to see them throw on some firepower at the break.
Last season's main man Lyall Cameron and new striker Amadou Bakayoko are on at the interval.
They need to win by two to go onto nine points and leapfrog Raith, who currently occupy that final last 16 slot, on goal difference.
The seeding for the last 16 is slightly awkward and asymetrical now five SPFL teams go into Europe and get a bye straight to the knockout stage.
Those five - Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs - are all seeded for the draw.
And they're joined by the three best group winners - guaranteed to be Airdrie (12 points), Ayr (11 points) and Motherwell (11 points).
