During the Jan. 30-Feb. 5 viewing window, the film (which was added to the Disney+ streaming service on Feb. 1 following its theatrical run) quickly landed itself on Nielsen’s most-streamed movies within a measurement week chart with 2.269 billion viewing minutes. It falls just behind “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” (2.886 billion) and “Hocus Pocus 2” (2.725 billion). It’s also Nielsen’s top-viewed title of the week. In a rare instance, the top five titles across four different platforms recorded over 1 billion viewing minutes on Nielsen’s streaming chart. Coming in at No. 2, Netflix’s “You People” continues to be a leader on the chart with 1.55 billion minutes viewed in its second complete week of availability.

Robert De Niro will star in and executive produce his first TV series with Netflix’s “Zero Day,” the streamer announced Wednesday.The six-episode limited drama series, which functions as a conspiracy thriller, is created by Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim, who will both serve as executive producers, with Newman executive producing under his Grand Electric Productions deal with Netflix.The official logline is as follows: “‘Zero Day’ asks the question on everyone’s mind — how do we find truth in a world in crisis, one seemingly being torn apart by forces outside our control? And in an era rife with conspiracy theory and subterfuge, how much of those forces are products of our own doing, perhaps even of our own imagining?”Michael S. Schmidt will also serve as a creator and executive producer alongside executive producer Jonathan Glickman.

Netflix has given a formal limited series order to Zero Day, a conspiracy thriller from Eric Newman (The Watcher, Narcos), Noah Oppenheim (Jackie, The Thing About Pam) and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author Michael S. Schmidt, with Robert De Niro attached to star and executive produce in his first series regular television role.
