Vernon Kay has issued a health update after being forced to miss his This Morning hosting debut.
The Bolton TV star was due to front the show for the very first time for three days this week alongside Rochelle Humes.
But Vernon has to pull out last minute after testing positive for coronavirus.
He also had to cancel plans to cover for Steve Wright on his Steve Wright in the Afternoon Radio 2 show this week.

Vernon Kay has given an update on his health after pulling out of his This Morning presenting debut after testing positive for coronavirus.The 47 year old was due to join Rochelle Humes, 32, as she wraps up summer before Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield return next week. But just one day before he was set to join Rochelle, Vernon announced he had tested positive for the illness, meaning he has to stay and home and isolate.
Eamonn Holmes has revealed he is set to co-host This Morning alongside Rochelle Humes this week. Eamonn, 61, stood in to replace Alison Hammond, who was due to host the Bank Holiday Monday episode alongside Rochelle, as she is "not well".
