A university student has avoided jail after admitting he sexually assaulted a girl.
Mahdi Alishieshi, 20, was hauled before a judge for the offences involving the child, when she was aged 11 or 12.
He was 17 when they occurred in Manchester.

The police were alerted after concerns were raised about entries in her diary.
She told officers how she had been sexually assaulted by Alishieshi.
