Hollywood stars woke up to the news that, as vote counting continued in Pennsylvania and Georgia, former Vice President Joe Biden had taken the lead in both states. Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes would push Biden over the 270 threshold needed to declare victory, even without the state of Arizona, which the Associated Press called for Biden on early Wednesday morning but a number of other outlets have yet to do so.

Late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, Hollywood stars continued to encourage election officials to count every vote in the 2020 election between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden and expressed disappointment at reports of armed demonstrators in Arizona,which the Associated Press and other outlets called early Wednesday morning for Biden but is still counting votes.

Police in the battleground state of Pennsylvania were investigating an Election Day arson at a polling place involving a young woman they say tried to set small fires as she waited on line to vote. The Pequea Township Police Department opened the investigation in response to an incident Tuesday afternoon at the West Willow Fire Company polling location in Lancaster County.
