Pennsylvania police say a woman tried to start fires at an Election Day polling location

The Pennsylvania State Department certified the results of the presidential election in favor of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, Gov.Tom Wolf said Tuesday. “Today @PAStateDept certified the results of the November 3 election in Pennsylvania for president and vice president of the United States,” Wolf tweeted.

A Pennsylvania federal appeals court rejected the Trump campaign's attempts to block more than 9,000 absentee ballots that arrived after Election Day. The Supreme Court in October ruled the state could extend its deadline to receive mail-in ballots by up to three days after Election Day, as long as they were postmarked on or before Nov.

A Pennsylvania judge ruled in favor of the Trump campaign Thursday, ordering that the state may not count ballots where the voters needed to provide proof of identification and failed to do so by Nov. 9. State law said that voters have until six days after the election — this year that was Nov. 9 — to cure problems regarding a lack of proof of identification.
