A Ukrainian band has posted a video to social media asking to be included in the Concert For Ukraine being staged by ITV and STV later this month.The video posted by Antytila addressed Ed Sheeran, who has been confirmed as one of the acts to play the upcoming concert, which will raise monies for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Their message to Sheeran was recorded on the streets of Kyiv where the band members – wearing combat gear in the video – are part of the army fighting against the Russian invasion.They stated: “Hello Ed, greetings from Kyiv! We are Ukrainian musicians of the Ukrainian band Antytila – one of the most popular Ukrainian bands with a lot of fans in Ukraine and all over the world. In peacetime, our concerts gather at stadiums.

We are so sad to report that Ukrainian actor Pasha Lee was reportedly killed while fighting Russian forces in his homeland.
According to a report from Ukraine’s Odesa International Film Festival, the 33-year-old actor was killed on on Sunday, March 6 in Irpin, Ukraine.

The film festival’s Instagram account announced, “On March 6, as a result of shelling by Russian occupiers in the Ukrainian city of Irpin, the famous Ukrainian actor Pasha Li was killed. He was 33 years old. The artist joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to protect the country from Russian occupiers.”
They added a bit about his film history, including, “Pasha Lee was a well-known Ukrainian film and dubbing actor, singer and composer. He played in the theater ‘Koleso’, starred in films and commercials. Among his works in cinema are the films ‘Shtolnya’ (2006) and ‘Shadows of Unforgotten Ancestors’ (2013) by Lyubomyr Levytsky, ‘Zvychayna sprava’ by Valentyn Vasyanovych (2012), ‘The Fight Rules’ by Oleksey Shaparev (2016), ‘Meeting of classmates’ by Valentyn Shpakov (2019) and others.”
