Tom Aspinall has revealed that he has been working with Cristiano Ronaldo's former surgeon as he hopes for a successful return to the Octagon in the wake of a nasty knee injury suffered at UFC London in July.
The 29-year-old was the main fight on the card at the event which took place at the O2 Arena in London on July, with his heavyweight contest against Curtis Blaydes topping a bill which included Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann. It was later revealed that the heavyweight had suffered a torn MCL, torn meniscus, and damaged ACL which required extensive surgery to ensure that he would be able to fight again. He has revealed that he teamed up with an unnamed surgeon, who he claims worked with Cristiano Ronaldo in the past.

“I can’t be doing these high-level training camps with a knee injury, I’ve got to take care of my physical health as well as my mental health. Don’t just keep getting pressured into doing these fights when I
