Lexi Carson After spending more than 30 years at Ubisoft, Cécile Russeil has been promoted to executive vice president, starting Wednesday. In her elevated role, Russeil will bring her experience in the company to lead Ubisoft’s functions and teams. She will also be in charge of communications, corporate affairs, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, human resources, and legal.
Russeil’s most recent position at the French video game publisher was chief legal officer. Since 2022, she’s been an executive member of the committee. In 2000, Russeil formed Ubisoft’s legal function, where today she leads an international team that covers all issues of business law.
Over the course of her time at Ubisoft, she acquired knowledge in the video game industry and markets which help the business operate. “With more than thirty years’ experience at Ubisoft, Cécile offers invaluable experience in steering international teams and navigating complex cross-functional initiatives,” co-founder and CEO of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot said. “Her relentless pursuit of excellence and dedication to our teams are acknowledged and valued by all.
