U2 share teaser of new single ‘Atomic City’

Check it out below.The new track marks the pop star’s first piece of music since her recent album ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’, which arrived back in February.Described by the singer as one of the “catchiest songs” in her catalogue, ‘Dang’ features production from Cecile Believe (SOPHIE, Shygirl), Danny L Harle (Charli XCX, Pinkpantheress) and Polachek herself.It also sees the singer-songwriter incorporate impressionistic lyrics and pounding instrumentals similar to that seen in her song ‘Bunny Is A Rider’, which arrived in 2021.To mark the new release, Polachek debuted the track live with a special performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, although the host was not at the performance as he has COVID.In the performance, she delivered the song in the style of a surreal Ted Talk, using a bewildering PowerPoint performance to set the tone.

Jesse Jo Stark has shared her heartfelt new single ‘Fallout’ ahead of her final debut headlining North American tour date.The melancholic track features confessional lyrics that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. “Don’t buy me a ring / the scariest thing about being all alone / clouds grow / I don’t know how not to have you around / the beautiful thing about the things that come out your mouth fallout / I don’t know how not to have you around,” Stark sings in the song.Directed by Christina Bryson, the accompanying video for ‘Fallout’ features footage of Stark on tour performing the track to her loving fans.

Bar Italia have shared their latest single ‘Jelsy’ and have announced an art exhibition set to take place in London.‘Jelsy’ is the second track to be released from the band’s upcoming LP ‘The Twits’. It follows the lead single ‘My Little Tony’. The track features the band’s – comprised of Nina Cristante, Sam Fenton and Jezmi Fehmi – three-way vocal dynamic and comes with a black-and-white video of the band performing the song in a bar while drinking.Along with the release of ‘Jelsy’ the band have announced that they will be hosting an art exhibit titled ‘Drawings By Bar Italia’ in London’s Frieze Gallery on October 27.

Ty Segall has shared his new single, ‘Eggman’ – watch the video below.It is the California garage rock musician’s second new song of 2023, following on from last month’s release of ‘Void’.The one-take music video, which Segall made with his wife and creative partner Denée Segall, sees him gorging his way through a bowl of hard-boiled eggs for an uncomfortably long time.The song opens with screeching guitars, which then give way to reveal a ’60s-style psych-pop tune, finally culminating in an ear-splitting, feedback-heavy blowout. “Your mouth’s agape and caked with eggs…You sit and rot your mind with thought,” he sings.The guitarist, singer and producer has released a total of 14 solo albums, most recently 2022’s ‘Hello, Hi’.
