Feeder have announced news of a new ‘Black’/’Red’ double album, as well as details of a UK tour set for next year. Check out new singles ‘Playing With Fire’ and ‘ELF’ below.Set for release next April, ‘Black’/’Red’ marks the first double album from the British rock band, and completes a trilogy of albums joined to 2022’s ‘Torpedo’.According to the band, the tracks across ‘Black’ and ‘Red’ both carry the same aura of “open space, freedom and possibility” as seen with last year’s LP, but sees them connected by their optimistic energy, rather than through a specific concept.It also sees the members both acknowledge where they are in their current songwriting process, as well as acknowledge their evolution across the decades.“I really wanted the album to be split in two parts for the listener, CD1 and CD2, black and red rather than be one long player, almost like a musical production with an interval,” said frontman Grant Nicholas of the double album.“Making it was a very creative time for me as a writer and a real labour of love.

Check it out below.The new track marks the pop star’s first piece of music since her recent album ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’, which arrived back in February.Described by the singer as one of the “catchiest songs” in her catalogue, ‘Dang’ features production from Cecile Believe (SOPHIE, Shygirl), Danny L Harle (Charli XCX, Pinkpantheress) and Polachek herself.It also sees the singer-songwriter incorporate impressionistic lyrics and pounding instrumentals similar to that seen in her song ‘Bunny Is A Rider’, which arrived in 2021.To mark the new release, Polachek debuted the track live with a special performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, although the host was not at the performance as he has COVID.In the performance, she delivered the song in the style of a surreal Ted Talk, using a bewildering PowerPoint performance to set the tone.

Jesse Jo Stark has shared her heartfelt new single ‘Fallout’ ahead of her final debut headlining North American tour date.The melancholic track features confessional lyrics that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. “Don’t buy me a ring / the scariest thing about being all alone / clouds grow / I don’t know how not to have you around / the beautiful thing about the things that come out your mouth fallout / I don’t know how not to have you around,” Stark sings in the song.Directed by Christina Bryson, the accompanying video for ‘Fallout’ features footage of Stark on tour performing the track to her loving fans.
