Tyler, The Creator Performs Fiery Medley at Grammys with Boyz II Men

A Change.org petition urging a boycott of the Beach Boys for co-headlining a safari hunters’ convention with Donald Trump Jr. this week has picked up a couple of notable signatories: two of the group’s founding members, Brian Wilson and Al Jardine.

Tyler, The Creator won his first Grammy last night, taking home the award for Best Rap Album. During a backstage interview, the former Odd Future leader described it as a bittersweet moment. He continued by calling out the Recording Academy’s decision to put his genre-bending album, IGOR, in the rap category.

Tyler, the Creator just won his first ever Grammy award, picking up the Best Rap Album trophy for 2019's excellent IGOR. And while he's grateful for the win, the prolific producer and vocalist also had some pointed and timely words for the Recording Academy in the press room when asked about the Grammys' voting process.

There were tons of first at Grammys 2020 which took place in the Staples Centre. While some made history, others charmed us with their performances.
