The brand new season of the much-loved Scottish sitcom Two Doors Down will return to viewers screens in November.
On Friday, November 24 viewers can tune in to see what Eric, Beth, Cathy, and the rest of the residents of Latimer Crescent have been getting up to, with the return of the beloved Doon Mackichan reprising her role as Cathy.
It comes as Doon revealed she would not be returning for the sixth season in August 2022, with the BBC at the time writing: "It has been absolutely fantastic to have Doon in the show. She'll always be part of the Two Doors Down family and we wish her all the best.
"Her character Cathy has been a great source of horror, entertainment and laughs for millions of viewers over the years. We await news of what will become of poor Colin. What will he do with all the empties? And who'll microwave his dinner for him?"
Elaine C Smith, who stars as Christine O'Neal, revealed that a seventh series was commissioned back in January, and filming took place over the summer.
The double-Emmy winner will be re-joining Grado, Elaine C. Smith, Alex Norton and the rest of the gang for some brand new hilarious adventures.
The new season will be bittersweet for many involved behind the scenes of the smash-hit comedy as the November 24 episode will be the first broadcast since the death of creator Simon Carlyle last month.
