Hollyoaks have confirmed the return of an iconic character in a dramatic winter trailer.
The E4 soap has confirmed that Jacqui McQueen, played by Claire Cooper, will be back in the Cheshire village this festive season. She will be back on our screens for a special episode and the exact reasons behind her return are being kept under wraps by show bosses.
However, it could be linked to her sister Mercedes as her predicament worsens as her wedding day approaches fast, and her secret lover Warren grows impatient about hiding his feelings for her.
Things get worse for Mercedes as she falls pregnant, but doesn't know if the baby is her partner Felix Westwood's baby or Warren's. Looking for answers, Mercedes turns to prayer in the hope of deciding whether she wants to be with Felix or Warren.
However, she later finds out that her oldest sister, Jacqui, is back in the village for the first time in ten years. As the drama kicks off, Jacqui is not the only McQueen who gets dragged into the drama, as Nana later catches wind of the affair with Warren and slaps him across the face.
The drama doesn’t end there for the residents as there is more to the story regarding Rayne Royce's murder, and it is all set to be revealed.
Prince is arrested for Rayne’s murder as all evidence points to him, and he ends up behind bars. While the suspected killer is in prison, Peri makes a shock confession to Nadira regarding Romeo’s whereabouts the night the crime happened.
