For many superhero fans, the best version of a TV series or film based on a comic book is none other than “Batman: The Animated Series” from the ‘90s. That series blew the minds of kids and adults alike by taking the source material seriously and presenting some of the best storytelling you’ll ever see involving capes and cowls.

Zack Snyder touched down at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on Wednesday to offer a sneak peak of his upcoming Norse mythology animated series Twilight of the Gods as part of the Next at Netflix showcase.
Netflix Animation revealed a string of sneak peeks and new clips of its upcoming projects, including the return of villainous penguin Feathers McGraw in “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,” Wednesday at the Annecy Animation Festival. “Wallace & Gromit” creator Nick Park was on hand with fellow Aardman director Merlin Crossingham to present new material from their upcoming feature “Vengeance Most Fowl.” Four-time Academy Award-winner Park also wrote the story, in which Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome dubbed “Norbot” that seems to develop a mind of its own.

You have to imagine Netflix is a bit let down by the release of the two “Rebel Moon” films earlier this year. While they definitely had decent viewership, the reviews for the films are terrible.
