‘True Lies’: Omar Miller, Erica Hernandez & Mike O’Gorman Join CBS Drama Pilot

Squid Game breakout star Wi Ha-joon is currently in talks to star in the upcoming drama Little Women.Earlier today (October 19), South Korean news outlet JoyNew24 reported that the Squid Game actor had been cast as the lead in the forthcoming series. His agency MSteam Entertainment has since clarified that Wi has received an offer for said role, but that he is still in the process of reviewing it.If cast, Wi will be starring alongside actresses Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Go-eun.

Emmy winner Blair Underwood (In Treatment) is set as a lead opposite Shailene Woodley, DaWanda Wise and Betty Gilpin in the upcoming Showtime drama series Three Women. Additionally, Mozart In The Jungle alumna Lola Kirke has been tapped for a recurring role in the hourlong series based on the nonfiction bestseller by Lisa Taddeo, who has adapted her book.

Angelique Jackson Jesse Metcalfe has signed on for MGM and Lightworkers’ new faith-based family drama “On a Wing and a Prayer,” starring opposite Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham.Based on a true story, Quaid stars as Doug White, who’s forced to fly a plane after the pilot dies unexpectedly mid-flight.The movie is the latest production from MGM’s Lightworkers — the company, founded by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, is behind “The Bible” miniseries and MGM and Paramount’s contemporary “Ben-Hur”

Oppenheimer is the director of the acclaimed documentaries “The Act of Killing” and “The Look of Silence,” and his next film will be a musical about the last human family.

Ginger Gonzaga (Kidding) will join Shameless‘ Steve Howey for CBS’ drama pilot True Lies, based on James Cameron’s 1994 action comedy film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis. The series hails from Burn Notice creator Matt Nix, McG and Cameron.
