The dad of a Scot who drowned in the River Clyde has told how three water deaths in the last ten days have brought him back to the day he lost his own son.

Scots actor Kevin McKidd has confirmed the end of his marriage to wife Arielle Goldrath.
The Grey's Anatomy star, who originally rose to fame as doomed pal Tommy Mackenzie in Trainspotting, took to Instagram to announce the ending of the couple's relationship. They had been together for four years and share two children.
He wrote: "I don’t often share my personal life on social media, but today there is something I do want to share with you. A few months ago, Arielle and I decided to end the marriage portion of our relationship.

Kevin clarified that the decision to split was amicable, and that he and private chef Arielle still care deeply for each other.
He continued: "Arielle is an incredible mother to Aiden and Nava. She’s one of the wisest, most intelligent and loving people I’ve ever known. We continue to have the highest love and respect for each other.
"We have been able to redefine our lives and love for each other in a beautiful way. It’s not been easy and has taken significant work and self-examination.
