For the first time in my life, I think I've just been thin-shamed. "Discussing with Scottish television host Lorraine Kelly, Matt went into detail on how he shed the weight during the pandemic.
The 48-year-old said: "I've lost some weight, I needed to take the edge off, because I put on a lot of weight in lockdown. He added: "The one thing I need to do is get fitter, I have put on a little bit of weight, that's my next challenge to do a bit more exercise. "I might have to make a game of it when I go out and exercise to stay out of people's way. I don't have a garden so I have to find a way to do that.
"He also noted that keeping the weight off was difficult, but he had a tip that maybe not everyone can have at their disposal so easily - a live-in personal trainer. Matt's housemate Jamie, is a "personal trainer extraordinaire" according to the Bake Off presenter. Sign up for Edinburgh Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox READ
