A man was tragically found dead in the Manchester ship canal, with police now attempting to trace his loved ones.
Alvin Joseph, 44, died close to Mowden Road in Salford on May 18. An investigation was then launched into his death by Greater Manchester Police.
The force says there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Joseph's death, but are now appealing to the public to try and trace his family.

A post shared by the force read: "We are appealing for the public's help to trace the family of Alvin Joseph, 44, who died at Manchester Ship Canal, close to Mowden Road on May 18th 2024.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
