TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou, who first appeared on the ITV2 show in 2017, has left fans stunned after they spotted her in an old episode of EastEnders. Yazmin became a fan favourite on TOWIE as her relationship with James Lock was documented on the show, but left viewers disappointed when they split and she decided to leave the show in 2021 to focus on her business in Dubai. She then made a shock return to the show, but in 2022, was involved in a tragic car accident with her on/off boyfriend Jake McLean, 33, in Turkey last year.
After he sadly passed away, Yazmin decided to take a break from the show afterwards. However, it turns out that TOWIE wasn't her first time on TV, as Yazmin had a brief role on the popular soap EastEnders. In a scene from 2012, Tyler Moon (played by Tony Discipline) is seen flirting with Yazmin's character in the famous Queen Vic pub.
As Tyler chats her up, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) watches them.
Tyler and Yazmin's character then leave the pub together. Uncovering the old clip, a fan shared the scene on TikTok, and viewers were quick to express their surprise at seeing Yazmin on EastEnders. One person commented: "Omg lol." Someone else was amazed to see her on the show and said: "No way! " Another person wrote: "Omg only just watched this episode and didn't realise." Yazmin stepped down from TOWIE for the second time six months after her horror crash, which left the star with life-changing injuries.
She has since explained that to survive the ordeal, she had to “snap her arm” in a bid to free herself and get help for her and Jake, and she's now shared a snap of the scars on her arm. Following the trauma, sources shared that she needed 'time to heal' emotionally. Speaking to The Sun, an insider
