Former TOWIE star Ruby Lacey looks quite different to how she appeared on the show before her exit five years ago. The 27 year old entered the ITVBe series in 2017 as one of Georgia Kousoulou’s best friends and was among a group of new single members added to the cast at the time. Ruby didn’t last on TOWIE however as she was axed after eight episodes, along with seven other starring names.

What perhaps is most noticeable about the ex reality star’s current appearance is her face, as she is captured in several photos shared on the platform displaying fuller lips and a slimmer-looking nose.
Before Ruby was dumped from TOWIE, it was revealed in October 2017 by The Sun that her place, along with fellow new cast member at the time, Maddie Hooper, was in jeopardy after the pair hid mention of having boyfriends to the show’s producers. The next January, both women’s axing from the series appeared to be confirmed as a source told the publication: “TOWIE is like a revolving door and producers are always on the lookout for new faces that can keep the show fresh. “Maddie and Ruby only appeared in a few episodes last series and failed to resonate with viewers.” Following this, an official spokesperson for TOWIE confirmed that Ruby and Maddie had left the show.
