Emotions were running high in TOWIE last night (September 4) as Liam 'Gatsby' Blacklwell finally ran into ex Dani Imbert for the first time since their break up leading to an explosive exchange. In the clip, Gatsby confronts his ex as she stands beside friend Roman Hackett, the cast member she's accused of having kissed while dating Gatsby.
Gatsby, 34, says to Roman, 20: "The only thing I cared about at the time was that you were going around telling everybody that you'd kissed my girlfriend." He added: "The reason I said it didn't happen was that I was embarrassed about the whole situation." Dani, 23, agrees adding, "That's fair enough." But Gatsby then goes on to add a further bombshell saying: "Actually three weeks after that you were in his bed." The pair looked shocked and Dani claps back: "I've stayed at his house numerous times, I've got no feelings for Roman." She continues as Roman looks sheepish: "I would never soberly kiss this boy ever." Dani joined the hit reality show after her friend, Rem Larue, set her up on a blind date with Gatsby and the couple hit it off. But last year following rumours of a kiss between Dani and Roman, the ill-fated pair had gone their separate ways.
Dani told fans on Instagram "We're not friends no, but there's no bad blood." Gatsby also confirmed the split in an Instagram Q&A writing: "We went our separate ways. It was the best decision for the both of us.
I wish her all the best." Speaking to Closer about the split Dani said: "“We’ve had plenty of rows this series but it’s just got to the point where now we don’t even look in the same direction." She added: "We generally just walk past each other and don’t acknowledge each other and that’s the way I want it to stay to be honest. I

Leo Barraclough International Features Editor In “The March on Rome,” which world premieres in the Venice Days sidebar of Venice Film Festival Wednesday, Northern Irish-Scottish filmmaker Mark Cousins tracks the ascent of fascism in Italy in the 1920s, and its fall-out across 1930s Europe. He also draws a dotted line from those events to the storming of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., in January 2021. The documentary, illustrated with archive footage and Cousins’ characteristic cinematic analysis, starts with Donald Trump defending his decision to retweet a quote from Italian dictator Benito Mussolini: “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep.” Later in the film, Cousins inserts footage of Trump supporters attacking the Capitol, hoping to overturn Joe Biden’s electoral victory.
