TOWIE's Elliott Wright 'heartbroken' after doorman at restaurant is killed in brawl

Former The Only Way is Essex star Elliott Wright has been left "heartbroken" after a doorman at his Marbella restaurant was killed as he tried to break up a fight. Dad-of-four Elliott, 43, who appeared on TOWIE between 2010 and 2017 and is the cousin of Mark Wright, has made the decision to close his restaurant Olivia's La Cala in Marbella temporarily as an investigation into the incident gets underway.The Sun reports that bouncer Jose Rafael Pisano Pardo, 55, was seriously injured after hitting his head as he tried to stop an argument between customers that started during the night.
He is said to have been rushed to intensive care after falling unconscious but sadly died on Sunday as he succumbed to his injuries. On Monday, the restaurant posted a statement on Instagram, which said that the restaurant would be closed temporarily and that staff were "heartbroken".
It read: "This weekend, we lost a much loved & valued member of our team. "Our hearts are broken & we have closed the restaurant today and tomorrow out of respect.
We are supporting our staff & the family whilst awaiting news of further investigations." Malaga police are said to have launched an investigation into the tragic incident but no arrests have yet been made. Confirming the bouncer's death, Jose's devastated son, Fabriccio, paid tribute online to his "great father" who taught him "to be the man he is today".
He wrote: "Rest in peace dad, my father did his best to get his family through very tough times and thank god he was able to pass me everything I needed to be the man I am today."
