Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey has spoken about what a big support The Wanted will be in raising her and her late husband's young children Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one. Tom tragically passed away on 30 March aged 33 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour just 18 months before. The late singer was undeniably close with his fellow bandmates Max George, 33, Siva Kaneswaran, also 33, Nathan Sykes, 29, and Jay McGuiness, 31, as the foursome carried his coffin at his heartbreaking funeral last month.
Now Kelsey has revealed that they’ll play a huge part in Aurelia and Bodhi’s lives as they grow up. “They’re a massive part of our lives and always have been. They are role models for the kids too, so I want them to come over and have their input in their lives and to tell them stories about their dad,” she told The Sun. “They know stories I don’t know.
Bodhi’s going to want to know the stories. He is going to ask, ‘What did my dad get up to on the tour bus?’ and he’ll be able to ask them when he’s older. They will always be there for us.” Kelsey also revealed that Jay stayed at the family’s home in the days running up to Tom’s passing, helping her with the kids as she went to visit her husband at the hospice.
