Tom Hanks gives update on his, wife Rita Wilson's health after coronavirus diagnosis

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are finally back home and grateful to those who helped them recover from the novel coronavirus, as well as to their fans. Soon after returning to the United States, the 63-year-old Oscar-winning actor expressed his thanks to healthcare workers in Australia who treated him and his wife earlier this month amid the pandemic.

Tom Hanks has given fans an update after he and his wife both tested positive for coronavirus.The 63 year old and his spouse Rita Wilson, also 63, were tested after they both fell ill during a trip to Australia where the actor was working on a movie. He has now taken to Twitter to inform his followers the pair are "feeling better" after spending two weeks in quarantine.

It was only a few days ago when Tom Hanks made the shocking revelation that he and wife Rita Wilson had tested positive for coronavirus. Taking to his Instagram page, the 63-year-old actor had written, "We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness." After a few days of isolation, Tom and Rita were discharged from the hospital and are currently in a rented home in Australia.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson on Thursday shared an update from Australia where both actors are in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). Tweeting a picture of himself and Wilson, Hanks wrote:"Hello folks.

Following the announcement they’ve tested positive for coronavirus, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are updating fans on their health!

The Hollywood legend took to Instagram on Friday to let fans know that he and his wife are "taking it one day at a time".
