Tom Cruise’s daughter Isabella is the eldest of his and actress Nicole Kidman’s children. But instead of living a very Hollywood lifestyle, the 29 year old prefers the quiet of Croydon to that of California. Artist Isabella ‘Bella’ Kidman Cruise was adopted by Tom, 59, and Nicole, 54, in 1992, two years after their wedding.
She now resides in Croydon, South London with her husband Max and their pet lizards. Isabella reportedly even turned down her dad's offer to live in his £342,000-a-month penthouse in London when she first moved to the UK in October 2017 to be closer to Max's parents. The Mirror reports that the Mission:Impossible actor owns a property close by 10 Downing Street that boasts an indoor swimming pool and amazing views, alongside other luxury features.
Instead Bella prefers to keep a low-profile in a three-bedroom house in Croydon, according to her neighbours. A neighbour named Emma told The Sun in 2017: “I wouldn’t have known her if she’d come up and smacked me in the face. I don’t keep up with celebrity culture.
“They have a reptile of some kind — we can see the red light of the tank. That’s all anybody seems to know. She’s very mysterious. I suppose she’s decided to live out of the spotlight.
I don’t know why she’s chosen Croydon, poor child!” Bella has seemingly embraced English culture since relocating to the United Kingdom - even getting behind the national team during the Euro 2020 semifinals last year. The artist made a rare appearance on social media in July 2021, sharing a selfie of herself supporting Gareth Soutgate's players in their quest to reach the final of the football tournament. "My face during extra time... fingers crossed," Bella captioned the snap shared with her 39,700 Instagram
