toddler has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Edinburgh. The two-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle on Drum Brae Avenue, Edinburgh, near the Scotmid Co-op, at around 4.20pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended the scene in the west of the city and police say the boy was taken to hospital as a precuation. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening , Edinburgh Live reports.

Gorgie Road at around 8:00pm on Friday, September 3. A male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle but the driver made off before the police arrived, reports Edinburgh Live.
