Zack Sharf Disney and Marvel Studios announced at the D23 Expo that “Unorthodox” Emmy nominee Shira Haas is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the superhero Sabra in the upcoming fourth “Captain America” movie, officially titled “Captain America: New World Order.” In the comics, Sabra is a mutant who serves as a Mossad agent. The character’s inclusion in the comics has long generated controversy, but Marvel confirmed to Variety that it’s taking a “new approach” with Sabra for the big screen. “While our characters and stories are inspired by the comics,” the studio said in a statement to Variety, “they are always freshly imagined for the screen and today’s audience, and the filmmakers are taking a new approach with the character Sabra who was first introduced in the comics over 40 years ago.”

teaser trailer for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios released more footage from the highly anticipated sequel at the D23 Expo in Anaheim. Director Ryan Coogler appeared to introduce the clip, which shows Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) appearing before a government hearing where UN officials are demanding that Wakanda share its vibranium resources.

While they didn’t unveil the entire cast of “The Fantastic Four,” or whatever it is fans are griping about at the moment, Marvel Studios did reign over Disney’s D23 Expo much as they did at San Diego Comic-Con, earlier this summer, basically owning the entire affair yet again. And let’s face it, there were plenty of announcements.

Marvel project from Uncharted director Amy Hennig’s new studio Skydance New Media has finally been revealed.The first look trailer was shown at yesterday’s (September 9) Disney and Marvel Games Showcase with the untitled project set to feature both Black Panther and Captain America.The game will be set during World War 2 and the action looks set to be split between Europe and Wakanda. The “narrative-driven, ensemble adventure” will have players controlling an ensemble of four characters including a young Steve Rogers, aka Captain America and Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather and the WWII-era Black Panther.

We’ve seen it before; girl meets boy, boy asks girl out, boy and girl fall in love, and they live happily ever after. From watching the trailer, you may think that the aforementioned familiar story is what we will see from “True Things,” but the opposite is the case.
