Tiffany Haddish is opening up about her journey to parenthood.
In a new interview with E!’s Daily Pop released on Wednesday (January 19), the 42-year-old actress and comedian shared an update on her adoption process.

I just went to Africa. I was just in Eritrea, and people were trying to give me their kids,” Tiffany shared. “I was like, ‘Hold up now, I gotta get the paperwork right now. I can’t just be taking kids with me.’”
When asked if she still plans on adopting, Tiffany said, “Not right now, but maybe at the end of the year, beginning of next year.”
Last year, Tiffany first opened up about her decision to start looking into becoming a parent, explaining that she had decided to go with the adoption route instead of surrogacy.
Tiffany, who grew up in the foster care system, added that she’s finished the parenting courses required to begin the adoption process.
