Thundercat announces new album, shares single feat. Steve Lacy

Lido Pimienta has announced her new album Miss Colombia with a new song called “Eso Que Tu Haces” (“That Thing You Do”). It’s due out April 17 via ANTI-. Check out the video for “Eso Que Tu Haces” below.

A new Kamasi Washington concert film is coming this Thursday. Kamasi Washington Live at the Apollo Theater was filmed last year and will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Find a new song called “The Bombshell’s Waltz” from the film below. The film was directed and edited by former Pitchfork contributor Michael Garber. Former contributors Timmhotep Aku, Jon Leone, Jim Larson, and Will Colby also worked on the film.

Rustin Man—the solo project of former Talk Talk bassist Paul Webb—has announced a new album. Clockdust arrives March 20 via Domino. Today, Webb has shared the LP’s lead single “Jackie’s Room.” Watch its moody music video, directed by Edwin Burdis, below.

New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates. Nandi Rose has announced a new Half Waif album: The Caretaker is out March 27 (via ANTI-). The LP marks Rose’s first release for the label.

Queen Latifah is coming back to TV and while we mostly know her for her comedic roles on tv shows, she’s about to bring that action. Queen Latifah will be the new “Equalizer” on the small screen. If y’all didn’t know, the Equalizer was actually a TV series years ago before the character was turned into a movie franchise starring Denzel Washington. 

Justin Bieber has announced his forthcoming album, Changes. The follow-up to 2015’s Purpose arrives February 14 via RBMG/Def Jam. He’s also shared his latest single “Get Me,” which features Kehlani. Check out Bieber’s forthcoming tour itinerary, as well as his new song, below.
