A man has been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and motorbike in Bolton. The smash happened on Winchester Way in Breightmet, near the junction with Withins Lane, at around 5.50pm yesterday (Monday).

A thug who went to hospital for treatment and then threatened to 'stab people up' was found with a seven inch knife.
Ainsley France, 24, abused staff at Fairfield hospital in Bury, and made 'racist' and 'sexual' comments.
He was told to leave but continued being abusive, so the police were called.

When he was arrested, officers discovered he had a seven inch blade.
Weeks earlier, he had waved a 10 inch knife towards two men after being asked to leave a pub.
France, who has regularly smoked cannabis since the age of 14, said: "Shut up or I'll cut you up."

He was hauled before a judge and admitted two offences of possessing a knife in public.
"You simply cannot go into settings like hospitals behaving in the way that you did, while in possession of a seven inch knife," said the judge, Recorder Neil Usher.
"This court takes a very serious view of those who carry knives in public."
Minshull Street Crown Court heard that France had turned up at the hospital previously and had been a 'nuisance'.
Then on November 22 last year he was 'abusive' to staff, made 'sexual references' and a 'racially aggravated comment'.
He made 'threats to stab people up' before being seen by a psychiatric doctor, prosecutor Simon Barrett said.
France didn't leave the hospital after being seen, and continued to be abusive.
